Connections Through Conversations at The Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery

By Jake Levin

Jennifer Perlmutter had a very simple reason for wanting to open up her own art gallery.

“Connection,” she said. “I knew I knew that if I opened a brick and mortar space and it became an extension of my art and creativity, that it would be a source of connection to artists and art lovers and most of all, open me up to the community I lived in.”

Located in Lafayette, Perlmutter said the gallery is a vessel that continually changes and gives her inspiration and ideas that are shared and spread through the community. It opened its doors three years ago February, right down the street from where her son was attending school.
