Meadow View Winery is a Lamorinda winery focused on making the best wine possible from Lamorinda grapes by thoughtfully controlling practices from the vine to the bottle. We work closely with local growers in the new Lamorinda AVA who are also interested in producing top quality wine to obtain the best possible fruit and then carefully ferment, cellar and bottle to obtain the optimum expression of Lamorinda terrior. In 2019 we are working with three Lamorinda vinyards. Above, winemaker Bill English is with Doug Spear and Isabelle Ord (Isabelle’s Vineyard), our largest grower.
Bill English had been making award-winning wine in Orinda as an amateur and finally decided to go commercial. These first commercial wines began with the 2014 vintage.
Introducing a sneak peek of our new artists, Rebecca Crowell and Jerry McLaughlin. Jerry and Rebecca are internationally recognized for their mastery in cold wax and oil media.
We are honored to bring you an exhibit Feb. 2020. The out-of state artists will be present at that time to share the story of their art and process.
