In today’s fast paced, consumer driven world, how can we as artists, slow down and show others how to look at things differently?
Jennifer Perlmutter Pop-Up Gallery is hosting an art exhibit featuring re-purposed and up-cycled material that has been given new life.
The show includes wall art, sculptures and installations made from alternative materials.
Up-cycling is the process of turning waste, often of the sort that is usually considered “un-recyclable”, into something that is useful or of value. A popular form of up-cycling involves creating art with items of waste, and the results can be spectacular!
The show includes a variety of Bay Area artists and our guest artist Joe Bologna.
